When I bill to WCB, I remove the healthcard number. Am I doing something wrong?
My WCB billing is coming back with error VH1 (OHIP number not valid)?!
Workers Compensation claims can be billed via OHIP (WCB) or directly to WSIB.
Billing WSIB is 3rd Party billing for non OHIP services such as filling out a form. 3rd Party billing, by definition, does not require an OHIP health card number.
On the other hand, OHIP service codes billed to WSIB are made out to WCB; Such claims are submitted to OHIP and require a health card number.
Printing Invoices/Receipts:
For example, Billing WSIB, as a 3rd party for form 8:
- Create a claim, 3rd party, WSIB
- Go to the Patients \ Patient Profile \ Reports & Labels, click on form 8 to download a partially populated 3rd Party PDF form.
- Fill in the claim details and submit to WSIB
HYPEMedical also incorporates, fully-populated, PDF form creation directly from the Claim screen (Claim \ Create Claim \ Claim Details) for select third parties. User's suggestions continually promt our support staff to add more forms to the Claim \ Create Claim \ Claim Details and the Patients \ Patient Profile \ Reports & Labels .
