Use E.Submit to send an RAI or Manual Review PDF form, with or without supporting documents, from a claim in HYPEMedical. Open the claim in Claim Details, click the yellow Request E.Submit button, choose the correct template, enter your name and email address, attach the required files, and click Submit.
This article explains how to use E.Submit in HYPEMedical to electronically send an RAI or Manual Review form and any related supporting documents.
Use E.Submit when:
you need to send an RAI PDF form for a claim that has already been processed on an RA
you need to send a Manual Review PDF form for a claim that was not RA processed
you need to include supporting documents or comments with the submission
you want the submission tracked through the HYPEMedical / Billing Cycle / MCEDT workflows
Only claims that have already been processed on an RA can be submitted as an RAI.
If a claim was not processed on an RA and requires supporting documents or billing staff comments, submit a Manual Review instead.
To open Claim Details for RAI or Manual Review submission:
Patient Search → load patient to Patient Edit → Services tab → select a service record from the claim → Action → Details → E.Submit
Load the claim in the Claim Details window from the Billing Cycle (red Arrow) or the Services tab in Patient Profile.
At the top of the Claim Details screen, click the amber Request E.Submit button.
In the Template dropdown at the top, choose:
RAI, or
Manual Review
This loads the correct submission template.
Enter your name and email address so the submission is clearly identified.
In the optional letter area, add a short note only if needed.
Keep it brief. The goal is to identify the sender and add clarification when useful. Text can also be added as a cover letter if required.
Scroll to the bottom and click the Attach button or paperclip icon.
Attach:
the RAI or Manual Review PDF form
any supporting documents
If the files are still in your email, download them to your computer first.
After all files are attached, click Submit.
Your E.Submit request is now complete.
If the claim has already been sent to the ministry, it is generally already in process.
You usually need to wait until it is:
paid or reported on an RA before using RAI
rejected with an error report before using Manual Review
After that, you can proceed with the appropriate follow-up.
In some cases, the ministry may still be able to intercept a claim, depending on timing and ministry handling. For a same-day mistakenly submitted claim, billing staff can contact ministry EDT support to see whether interception is still possible.

Scroll to the bottom of the E.Submit window and look for the Attach button or paperclip icon.
Download the files to your computer first, then attach them from your local folders.
You may need to wait for the claim to be paid, reported on an RA, or rejected before proceeding with RAI or Manual Review. For a same-day mistaken submission, you can contact ministry EDT support at 1-800-262-6524 to ask whether the claim can still be intercepted.
