Updating QuickClaim with OHIP's NEW Fee Schedule Master (SOB)

Updating QuickClaim with a new SOB (Schedule of Benefits)

Step-by-Step Instructions:
  1. The April 1, 2026 SOB file is now available for download.  

  2. WarningUNZIP the downloaded SOB file. Please note that the sob file is only meant to be readable by billing software. Do not open the file after you unzip it.

  3. Open QuickClaim
  4. On QuickClaim's Main Menu click on the Codes icon
  5. Click on Have Disk
  6. Browse (to the unzipped SOB file) 

  7. Click on the file to select it
  8. Click Open
  9. Click Start and QuickClaim will start processing the new SOB, click 'OK' when the update is complete.

    One more step for the SOB update:     Anesthisiologists & Surgical Assistants Only! 
  10. Continue in Manage Codes, click on the Adjust Anaesth button
  11. Enter the updated unit fee amount for Surgical Assistance, or FeeAssistant and click OK 
  12. Enter the updated fee amount For Anesthisiologists, or FeeAna and click OK 

    Now, you are ready to resume billing!

Please call our support line at 1-800-592-2138 if you need to bill Anesthesiology or Surgical Assistance unit fees and you do not see the Adjust Anaesth button.
