By default, the header of a submission batch file comprises the physician's group number, billing number and specialty. Every physician has a group number, even a solo practitioner. A group number is an alphanumeric of four characters @@@@. In the case of a solo practitioner, the group number is 0000. The billing number is a six-character number ######, followed by the specialty of two characters ##.
HYPEMedical determines the Batch submission file header from the Group Num, Provider and Spec. Code fields in the Doctors Profiles \ New Doctor Profile \ MOH tab (see image below). In this example, the Batch Submission header for the physician will be 7777-777777-00.
The Su must be check-marked when the Batch Submission file header must include a solo group number (0000).
