Health card validation [HCV] is triggered automatically in the billing and appointment forms. HCV can be manually triggered in the patient profile form as well.
Enter New Patients by their health number; complete patient demographic data is downloaded/updatedfrom OHIP’s database to yours.
HCV appears as eithergreen (valid)orred (invalid). In addition, periodicservice codes eligibilityand roster data is displayed. This detailed validation appears as a bubble for 10 seconds.
