This article explains how to create a new appointment type in HYPEMedical_WTIS for use in the Appointment Book, including WTIS-related settings, appointment colour, and Doctor Profile assignment.
Use this process when your clinic needs a new appointment type for scheduling, tracking, and displaying a visit or procedure. For WTIS-related workflows, the most important setting is Wle Required, which identifies the appointment type as a WTIS-related mapped procedure type.

Appointment Length: 15
Appointment Category: Doctor’s Appointment
Doctor Profile (used here as the modality/facility profile): FCT.
Note: Doctor Profile is used as the modality/facility profile.
This example uses the following naming convention:
Using consistent naming helps staff recognize procedure types and can help align setup with Ontario Health WTIS / MPM workflow.
