How do I Print a Receipt/Invoice or a Refund?

Generate Receipts, Invoices, and Refund statements in HYPEMedical:

  1. Immediately after saving a Direct or Third-party claim (invoices & receipts) see images.
  2. In Claim Details (invoices, receipts and refunds)
  3. Billing Cycle (invoices, receipts and refunds)
  4. From the patient’s Service History in patient profiles (invoices, receipts and refunds) see image.

Printing an invoice or a receipt may be done immediately after a claim is saved.

How to print an invoice or receipt

Option A — Immediately after saving the claim

  1. Create and save the Direct or Third-party claim.
  2. After saving, select the option to print the Invoice or Receipt.
  3. Print or preview the document as needed.

Option B — From Patient Profile

  1. Open Patients.
  2. Open the patient’s Patient Profile.
  3. Go to Services or Service History.
  4. Locate the relevant service or claim.
  5. Choose Invoice or Receipt.
  6. Print or preview the document.

How to print a refund statement

Refund statements may be printed from the patient record.

Navigation:
Patients → Patient Profile → Services

Steps

  1. Search and find the patient in Patients → Patient Profile.
  2. Go to Services.
  3. Locate the refund-related service record and click on Action (far right).
  4. Select the Mark Item as Refunded option.
  5. Print or preview the refund statement from the Claim Details.
    1. Go to Services.
    2. Locate the refund-related service record and click on Action (far right).
    3. Select the Details option.

Version note

HYPEMedical Versions 2 and 3: Invoices, receipts and refunds may be created and printed.
HYPEMedical Version 1: Only invoices and receipts may be created and printed.
