Can HYPEMedical automatically upload and download MCEDT files with my GoSecure account?

HYPEMedical can automatically upload and download your MCEDT files from GoSecure. All you have to do is permit HYPEMedical to exchange files with MCEDT on your behalf as your Designee.

Please follow the two-step process below to permit HYPEMedical to become your GoSecue Designee:



  1. Sign in to your GoSecure account: 
      1. ยท Open a new Internet browser session and navigate to https://www.edt.health.gov.on.ca
      2. Enter your GoSecure user id and password and select 'Sign In.'
      3. Select' Designee Maintenance' on the Administration and MOHLTC Services page (Add, Remove, Update).
      4. At the Designated Accounts screen, select 'Add Designee.'
      5. At the Designee Details screen, enter 'Full Name' as Hype Systems and 'Email Address' as edt@hypesystems.com.
      6. Select the text 'Confirm this Designation'.

  2. Wait for a GOSecure email advising that Hype Systems has accepted your designation. Wait times vary from 2 minutes up to 24hrs.
      1. You will receive the above-mentioned email with the subject 'Designee has confirmed access.' 
      2. Open and click the link in the email to open your browser to https://www.edt.health.gov.on.ca .
      3. Enter your MCEDT user id and password and select 'Sign In.'
      4. Select' Designee Maintenance' on the Administration and MOHLTC Services page (Add, Remove, Update).
      5. Select edt@hypesystems.com in the 'Email' column on the Designated Accounts grid.
      6. Select the 'Select All' button at the Permissions screen or grant permission to specific files or reports as required.
      7. Click on the 'Save' button. You may need to scroll down to reach the 'Save' button.
